The question I'm most often asked on 1:1, e-coffee meetups:

I've worked in corporate for most of my working life, Including banks, education, apprenticeships, creative industries and others.

My personal experience:
✔ Bullying (from both men and women)
✔ Impostor Syndrome (terrified that I wasn't good enough)
✔ Men being promoted over women who were clearly better at the job
✔ Boys club
✔ Sales supersede human beings
✔ HR backs corporate 100%
✔ Interview panels often made up mostly of men
✔ Young women (exceptionally talented) suppressed voice and ideas stolen
✔Self-confidence smashed to pieces
✔ Anxiety and depression

Caveat - this is my personal experience.

During induction, in every boot camp we launch, I ask the women directly if any of these resonate?

✔ The answer is always yes to all.

𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐭?

I have three sisters and four nieces. I've helped hundreds of young woman apprentices combat the working world systems. With great success.

As my own personal working experience as a man has been horrible, I can't fathom what it's like for some women and I want to empower them to design their own pathways towards their dream future career and gift the skills, network, and opportunities I've managed.

Largely to prevent serious mental health issues of which I've had my fair share.
