🚀 There's a lot of excitement in AI the last couple of days with rumors that Apple 🍏 is in discussions with Google 🤖 to integrate the Gemini platform directly into the iPhone ecosystem. With the upcoming release of iOS 18 later this year, we're poised to witness an influx of new AI features that promise to redefine our interaction with technology. 📱💡

The previous generation of AI is already integrated into our smartphones and you can see this in:

1. Smart Cameras: 📸 Notice how AI makes you a better photographer? Thanks to AI, almost anyone can capture stunning images. AI is the genius behind the scenes, recognizing faces, optimizing lighting, and making us look more attractive. 😎

2. Voice Assistants: 🗣 Siri, Google Assistant, and Alexa – these handy digital companions use AI to understand your questions and commands, assisting with tasks like setting reminders, answering questions, and playing music, all hands-free. 🔊

3. Predictive Text and Autocorrect: 💬 Noticed how your phone anticipates your next word or corrects typos as you type? AI smartly predicts your intended input, streamlining your typing experience. By the way, that’s also how ChatGPT and other Large Language Models work – they’re just a lot bigger and better! 🤓

4. Battery Life Management:🔋 AI learns your usage patterns to enhance battery efficiency, closing idle apps and tweaking settings to keep your phone alive longer.

5. Security Features: 🔐 Advanced AI-driven features like facial recognition and fingerprint scanning bolster your phone's security, ensuring that only you can gain access by learning the unique characteristics of your face or fingerprint.

6. Custom Recommendations: 🌍 Your phone's knack for suggesting relevant news articles or apps is powered by AI, which analyzes your preferences and matches them against other people similar to you to personalize your content feed.

7. Translating Languages: 🗨 Engaging in conversations across language barriers? AI facilitates real-time translation, making communication seamless and inclusive. In our classes, you'll see first-hand how we leverage AI's translation powers to enhance learning.

🚀👧👦 **The Future is Now: When Should Kids Start Learning About AI?** 🤖💡

Hi Everyone! 🌟 We've been swamped with questions from curious parents, and one keeps popping up: "What's the best age for kids to start learning about AI?" 🧐

It's a good question - AI is weaving itself into the fabric of our lives, just like computers, smartphones, and social media did. It's not just coming; it's here, reshaping the way we live, work, and play. 🌍✨

And here's the kicker: students today *need* to be fluent in AI by the time they hit the job market. From medicine to music, AI's influence is sprawling across every field you can imagine. 🎓💼

So, the million-dollar question: **When do you kickstart your child's AI journey?** 🚀

Believe it or not, even tots at 3 or 4 can start playing with AI buddies like Alexa or Siri. It's all about fun interactions at this stage. But as they grow, so does the complexity of their understanding and usage of AI tools. 🎈🧠

Based on what we've seen, and much like how you'd approach tutoring, coding, or robotics classes, we believe the right age to dive deeper into AI is around 8 or 9 years old. 🌈📚

Why wait for the future when your child can be a part of creating it? Let's give our kids the tools to not just navigate but innovate in an AI-driven world. 🌟🛠️

👇 **We'd love to hear from you!** When do you think kids should start learning about AI, and why? Share your thoughts and let's start a conversation that could shape the future! 💬🔥

Our personal and professional lives are inevitably going to be influenced by AI whatever our personal opinions may be on the matter!

Some of you may have read this story already about a regular office worker in Hong Kong transferring over 200 million HKD (~20 million GBP) believing that it was the instruction of the company CFO. AI deep fakes will only become more realistic. It is imperative that children have a good understanding on how to interpret, navigate and use AI tools. Our aim at LSAI is to teach children both the advantages and challenges around ethically using AI tech.

Our trial lessons are filling up fast. Feb 14th and Feb 17th morning are full. We have a few spots left in the Feb 17 evening and are planning on opening another session that day. Send us a message if you have a preferred time.
