At GBS, we remain committed to creating impactful learning experiences for our students. On 27-28 March, we had the privilege of hosting key discussions on breastfeeding education and healthcare training, bringing together global experts, students, and faculty at our GEDU House - Stratford, London campus.
As part of our ongoing efforts to provide real-world exposure, students from our Health & Social Care courses engaged with delegates from Ireland, the UK, Belgium, and The Netherlands, exploring both the scientific and societal impact of the UNITAR Breastfeeding Education Initiative.
Opportunities like these reflect our dedication to shaping the next generation of healthcare professionals, and our commitment towards the welfare of our students.

GEDU Global Education and GBS Global Banking School were honoured to host the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) Regional Conference on Breastfeeding Education on 27 March and Training of Trainers Workshop on 28 March.
UNITAR launched the Breastfeeding Education Initiative (BFEI) in March 2023 to address the critical need for high-quality, accessible breastfeeding education and training for healthcare professionals, community leaders, and mothers, as breastfeeding is a key factor in improving child health, as well as delivering wider benefits to society.
Delegates from Ireland, the UK, Belgium, and The Netherlands joined students and faculty from GBS’ Health and Social Care courses for a series of discussions throughout the day, spanning both the scientific and social impact of the initiative.

GBS Global Banking School has been successful at the Purpose Coalition’s Breaking Down Barriers Awards 2025, recognising outstanding contributions to breaking down barriers to opportunity.
The awards celebrate individuals, organisations, and initiatives that promote opportunity, diversity, and social inclusion across the UK.
At the awards ceremony held in Parliament House, GBS, along with GEDU, were successful in the ‘Opportunity for All, Everyone, Everywhere’ category amongst nominees Aldermore, Enterprise Mobility, c2c, and Teleperformance.

Our Community Outreach team has been busy connecting with students at multiple career fairs in celebration of National Careers Week! 🎉
Our team members Manpreet Kaur, Ameen Dafedar, Kaif Ahmed and Zaid Fazil engaged with students, shared valuable insights about our programmes, and explored exciting career pathways together. It was incredible to witness the enthusiasm and ambition of future professionals.

GBS students participated in a meaningful volunteering day with Swan Care Group at our Greenford campus recently.
From expert-led discussions on dementia care to hands-on insights into domiciliary support, the event offered a valuable learning experience. Students had the opportunity to interact with industry professionals, gain insights into dementia care and research and contribute to a meaningful cause 🙌

Education has the power to break down barriers and create opportunities. Proud to support GEDU Global Education in launching the 'Breaking Down Barriers' report in Parliament with The Purpose Coalition, showcasing how education transforms lives and drives social mobility.
The report was welcomed by Rt Hon. Justine Greening and Ian Sollom MP, and attended by key parliamentary leaders, including Seema Malhotra MP and Rt Hon. Virendra Sharma MP. Our leadership team, including Dr. Vishwajeet Rana, James Kennedy, Petros N., Dapinder Goraya, Vanita Kerai, Asim Dutta and Peter Heard, was honored to take part in this important discussion on widening access to education.

We were honoured to welcome Mayor of Enfield, Cllr Mohammad Islam, to our Greenford campus today, where he met with senior leaders, including Dr. Dinesh Saraswat, Asim Dutta, Vanita Kerai and Nataliya Petkova-Radoycheva.
During his visit, the Mayor toured classrooms and engaged in insightful discussions with students as well as our leadership team, reinforcing the vital role of education in community development.
