London NERC Doctoral Training Partnership The London NERC Doctoral Training Partnership brings together nine of the world’s leading research centres in environmental science.

We currently fund over 170 PhD students across the environmental sciences. The London NERC Doctoral Training Partnership brings together environmental science research at the University College London, Birkbeck, Brunel, Institute of Zoology, Kew, Kings College London, Natural History Museum, Queen Mary University of London and Royal Holloway University. We offer fully funded PhD studentships in the following research themes:

Earth, Atmosphere & Ocean Processes;
Environmental Pollution;
Evolution & Adaptation;
Natural & Biological Hazards;
