On 5 September 2026, Chevening Alumni Laos welcomed almost 80 potential applicants to our Chevening Information Session! 🎓 We talked through the journey — from application and interview to studying in the UK and life as a Chevener.

An honour to share our journey 🇬🇧🇱🇦

Chevening Alumni Laos was delighted to join The British Embassy for the Chevening Government Information Session on 25 August 2026, sharing what the Chevening Scholarship is really like — from choosing courses and writing essays, to life in the UK and coming home to apply what we learned.

The session’s speakers included three alumni from the 2024/25 cohort and one of our newest awardees from the 2026/27 cohort, who flies to the UK to begin her studies very soon.

Thank you to The British Embassy for the invitation and the warm welcome, and to all the officials who joined us for the valuable questions. We hope to see you joining our alumni community in the future.
