Register for a Theory Workshop / Aural Test Session | Your Space Music Lessons 01/09/2024

I will be hosting Music Theory Classes again this term grade 1 (Fridays at 5.30pm from 20th Sept) and grade 2 (Tuesdays at 5pm from 17th Sept) with YSML. Music theory is an excellent way to improve your knowledge and understanding of music which can make learning an instrument so much more effective and rewarding. You also need to pass a grade 5 theory exam to enter for an ABRSM practical instrument exam at grade 6 or above. Our Story

Ben Singer has had a passion for music ever since he stood up in his grand-parents’ living room age 4 to give his family a “concert” on his new toy guitar! This love for music led him to practise the guitar, piano, organ and singing throughout his early days. As an adult, Ben soon began teaching music to others, sharing his passion for listening, studying and performing, which has become a long and dedicated career since 2001. After becoming very busy with students of a great range of ages, abilities and interests, he decided to share his experience of teaching with another teacher and in 2015, Ben Singer Music was established. That teacher Niomi is still working with us today and we remain a small team of like-mind teachers. We are dedicated to keeping the enjoyment at the centre of each lesson, whilst eliciting the very best from every student, with kindness and understanding. Today we offer piano, guitar, drums and singing across multiple locations in and near South East London. Our clients and students enjoy our flexible and amenable approach and look forward to seeing their teacher walk through the door with a spring in their step and a smile on their face.
