I will be hosting Music Theory Classes again this term grade 1 (Fridays at 5.30pm from 20th Sept) and grade 2 (Tuesdays at 5pm from 17th Sept) with YSML. Music theory is an excellent way to improve your knowledge and understanding of music which can make learning an instrument so much more effective and rewarding. You also need to pass a grade 5 theory exam to enter for an ABRSM practical instrument exam at grade 6 or above. I aim to make these classes fun and engaging, it is just £8.80 per 40 min class per student, book your space here today:

Delighted to announce the return of our student concerts in April at our usual venue. This is a great opportunity for all students to perform in a relaxed and welcoming environment. Refreshments will be provided and there will be an opportunity to submit your video clips/photos to be featured right here on our page following the event! Here is an short clip of Ben Singer teaching a piano lesson. The focus of the lesson was on the challenge which all piano students have to meet regularly of how to integrate the left hand with the right hand. The example given is a D major scale for two octaves which is currently required to be played hands together by ABRSM for their practical grade 3 piano exam.
