Join us for our next SEND Parent and Carer Support Group Meeting on Thursday 24 September at 6.30pm in the School Library. This group is for STAGS parents/carers of children with SEND or those struggling to access school. It's informal, confidential, and parent-led, with full school backing. New members always welcome!

🎉Parks Park is now open!

We are delighted to announce the official opening of our brand new ‘Parks Park’ outdoor space. Our versatile 'Parks Park’ space has benching and picnic tables for students from all year groups to get together during their breaks and lunchtimes. It is an open-air space for everyone to enjoy with artificial grass that will not get muddy in the rain or turn yellow in a long hot summer like the one we have just experienced!

Parks Park is a fantastic addition to STAGS and there were positive reviews from all students who spent their lunchtime there today.

STAGS Talks takes place every week in form time and covers a topical issue or annual event. It allows all students to hear a range of different perspectives and creates a safe place to discuss what is going on in the world, as well as to celebrate a diverse range of cultures. This week we talked about Equity at STAGS and Global Citizenship. All students are invited to continue the conversation with Ms Lamb and Miss Cardani every Thursday lunchtime in room 75 at STAGS Talks About...Club.

✨We are filled with pride today as our Year 11 students celebrated an exceptional set of GCSE results across the full range of subjects.

Headteacher Paul Kershaw commented ‘These exceptional results are a reflection of the dedication and resilience this year group has demonstrated over the past five years and they should feel so proud of what they have achieved. I also want to recognise the incredible commitment of STAGS staff, who inspire and support these, and all our young people every day, as well as families whose encouragement has been invaluable! Thank you so much for all of the positive comments from families today about the school which are all very gratefully received on behalf of our exceptional staff’.

Our students now go on to take an inspiring range of Post 16 pathways. Alongside A Levels, exciting specialist routes include Film & TV Production, Equine Studies, Travel & Tourism, Forensic Psychology, Carpentry and Childcare.
