We offer creative, interdisciplinary approaches to the study of the Earth’s physical features and to human societies and cultures at local, regional and global levels. Teaching takes place within a vibrant research culture, with our staff working towards social and environmental justice and undertaking critical research in childhood studies, climate change and the environment, gender, human rights, migration, globalisation and development.
