He transcribes and arranges classic material for the band, led by himself and . Here is a snippet of Jazz 2 playing Reuben's arrangement of Gil Evans' 'BOPLICITY' from the seminal Miles Davis album 'BIRTH OF THE COOL'.

Here's a clip from the YMM Big Band with their version of Freddie Hubbard's classic 'Little Sunflower.' 🌻

We're lucky at YMM to have two fantastic players and educators running our inclusive Big Band, Joel Knee and Reuben Fowler. Reuben is also a fantastic professional arranger, and YMM is lucky to be able to benefit from his considerable talents!

Joel brings his expertise in Latin American music to this piece with an augmented rhythm section from the Salsa group.
