Dear Parents,

The Christmas holidays are a time for us (and your children) to recharge our batteries! We will not be running any workshops over the Christmas holidays but will be raring to go and bursting with new ideas for 2026.

Our final Saturday ONLINE sessions 2pm to 4pm are still available to book, with the last session being on 20th December. This is the link to book.

We would like to take this opportunity for entrusting your children to us in 2025 and for all your kind words and support. And above all we would like to thank your children for the stories and poetry that they have shared with us over the year. We have loved every minute of it.

Congratulations to Oma (Nhuomachim Umo-Chinda) who has been attending our online Teens' Writing Workshops for many years now. She has come in the top 15 in the Foyles Poetry Competition with her stunning poem 'A Semiotic Deconstruction of Blue in Static Form'. I feel it is a bit of a proud parent moment, even though Oma and I have never met - only online - but I am beaming with pride for her. I remember the beginnings of the poem as she wrote it in our workshop and am so happy that it got the recognition it deserved.

I love these quick drawings the children did of their magical creatures on Saturday in Writing Club. You could almost feel how good it was for them from the vibes in the room.
