Katarina's Tutoring

Katarina's Tutoring Home and online tutoring and educational services Hi, thank you for visiting my page. My name is Katarina, and I am a fully qualified teacher and a tutor.

My love for teaching has taken me all over the world – I have taught throughout Europe, the Middle East and the UK. I love nothing more than sharing my passion for learning and seeing that spark in children’s eyes as they finally grasp the concept they have previously struggled with or learnt something new that results in a true passion. My sessions are specifically tailored to student’s needs, interests and learning styles. I endeavour to understand what my students are passionate about and channel these energies into their learning. Having worked in both private and public schools and across multiple curriculums, I have developed a broad range of teaching techniques and acquired strategies on how to best approach the content of the National Curriculum. I can also work directly with your child’s teacher if requested to create a tutoring plan that focuses on the content being taught at school in a particular term

So proud of my hardworking student! Lots of effort, hands-on learning with manipulatives, and visualizing concepts to make learning come to life!

Today, we investigated analogue clocks, focusing on time, minutes, and hours. By building on our prior knowledge of the 5 times tables and fractions, we made a complex concept more accessible. The lesson was a great success!
Thank you, Karen Wilding, for the inspiration 🥰
