Drum It Sing It

Drum It Sing It Drum It Sing It is a new project offering combined drumming and singing workshops in a fun, supportive atmosphere for all ages and situations.

Drum It Sing It is a new project developed by Sheila Stocking and Louise Raven-Tiemele offering combined drumming and singing workshops for all ages and situations. Louise is an experienced choir leader specialising in harmony and world music. She has set up and run choirs and singing groups in a range of settings including schools, outdoors and the local community, catering for all ages and abilities. Sheila is a professional djembe/drum kit player with over 25 years experience in education. She has worked extensively in schools and has an expertise in the Music National Curriculum and cross curricular links in the delivery of music education. Sheila and Louise met about 2 years ago when Louise started attending djembe workshops led by Sheila. After doing a small performance involving Sheila drumming and Louise singing a five part harmony song and teaching it to the audience, they decided to make this great experience available through workshops. Louise and Sheila will create workshops for any age/ability and setting. They love to work in schools, in the community, with parents/carers and children, families, corporate events, team building and special projects. Please contact Sheila or Louise for more information and to discuss what sort of workshop they could offer you. Drums and hand percussion are provided.
