This month we’re celebrating bonfire night and our freebie is set to help you do that with your class.
Our bonfire night acrostic poetry lesson is a complete lesson including a detailed lesson plan, PowerPoint presentation and writing templates.
Let’s make that first week back a little easier!

As we reach the end of this first term back at school, the nights are drawing in and the weather has taken a turn. But there is still so much to be excited about! Diwali will be celebrated this year on the 31st October. Why not use this opportunity to ask your class to plan a celebratory firework display! Our maths project for children in UKS2 allows pupils to apply, in context, the skills they've been learning to a topical lesson. The assignment is sent to children as an email from a local council and some of the children do take their job quite seriously. It's great fun.
This project would also be suitable for the 5th November or New year when we can enjoy more fireworks.

Something for Monday that’s topical but not football related?…

We are ExcitEd to share some wonderful Father’s Day resources and activities for all year groups.
Create a personalised Father’s Day cards and keepsakes which can be edited to have the name given to any care giver the children wish to celebrate.
Each resource includes a lesson presentation explaining Father’s Day as a celebration to say thank you to male caregivers in our lives (not just Dads) and demonstrating the activity.
