RoSE Network - RoSE-eCOTS regional meeting 21/05/2026

This event will bring together educators, researchers, and practitioners in statistics and data science education to share current research, exchange innovative teaching practices, and strengthen collaboration across the community. Winners of RSS Mardia Prize 2026

The 2026 Mardia Prize for interdisciplinary workshops has been awarded to Dr. Purvasha Chakravarti and Professor Francois-Xavier Briol from the UCL Department of Statistical Science.

The workshop series, Statistics Meets Fundamental Physics, will bring together statisticians and physicists to tackle shared challenges and exchange expertise.

We are excited for the workshop series that aims to foster collaboration, spark new ideas, and support interdisciplinary research in two one-day workshops:

- Statistics meets Theoretical and Particle Physics
- Statistics meets Astrophysics and Cosmology
