A pose is usually set for a period of three weeks, each weekly session runs for three hours which can feel quite long if you’re not used to it but it does give you a chance to make some headway, try a number of approaches or depict the model from a number of positions by moving around the room. In fact we run throughout the year and stay open through the holidays too other than a couple of weeks in August and Christmas and Easter weekends. The group is run by artists for artists and at £10 it is very good value compared to local authority run courses. The open structure is also a point of difference that many people find appealing along with the hard to find longer poses. We are now also offering tuition in the form of skill specific workshops and atelier style courses.
