Snaresbrook Preparatory School is a small independent school for children aged three-and-a-half to eleven where every child is seen, known and heard.

Founded in the early 1930s, the school today is ISA accredited through inspection. The school occupies a substantial Victorian building, once a large private family home - a fact that contributes to the strong community spirit with

in the school. We aim to cultivate a caring family atmosphere in which children feel secure and valued. Most children join our nursery at 3 and stay with us until they reach 11 when they leave for their secondary schools.

It’s the build up to the last day of term which means one thing… our forecourt fun morning is back!

It’s World Book Day!

At SPS we are celebrating by dressing up as our favourite book characters, from Paddington to Harry Potter we have been amazed by all of the wonderful costumes today.

Another incredible Usborne Book Fair!

A massive thank you to Anne Croxford, In Partnership with Usborne for all her hard work in organising and running this event.

All of the children enjoyed their time browsing, learning about different styles of books and having a read of the ones that they had added to their favourite books list.

We cannot wait for our next Book Fair!

We have two types of tours available to book here at SPS.

Tour type 1: An informal visit, this consists of a one to one private tour with our Head of School Mr Dalton.

Tour type 2: An Open Morning event consisting of a tour of the school lead by our wonderful year 6 children. There will be an opportunity to speak to our senior leadership team during your visit as well as meeting some of our teaching staff.
