It’s a year today since a virus struck, I contracted vocal cord paralysis and I lost my voice. It’s a year today since I taught! It’s been a long, emotional and frustrating year. I’m still having speech therapy but thankfully progress has been made. I can now talk and do some singing, but my voice is still unreliable and lacks stamina. Here’s to more progress in the weeks and months to come. It’s made me realise just how much I value my voice, and how much my voice is who I am.

Hi all. I posted this questionnaire last month, and thank you to everyone who has participated. I'm closing the questionnaire on Sunday 18th, but I'd like to get a few more responses, so if you missed the original post, there is still time to get involved.
I'm in my final year of the EY Masters with CREC. I've had vocal issues this academic year and my dissertation research is the vocal health of Early Years practitioners (musicians and non-musicians working with children 0-7 years old).
