People will do anything for the views 😢 A personal trainer who gorged on junk food to gain 55lbs for a social media challenge has died after suffering a cardiac arrest.🍔
The 30-year-old decided to intentionally pile on 55lbs just so he could show his online followers how to lose it again.
Dmitry Nuyanzin embarked on a daily 10,000-calorie diet to prove his own extreme weight-loss programme worked.
That is nearly four times the recommended daily intake for men, consisting of half a cake for breakfast, pizzas, and heavy plates of dumplings smothered in mayonnaise.🍕
He called the stunt his junk food 'marathon' and promised to pay $100 to any follower who managed to shed weight alongside him.
In just one month, his weight rocketed from 202lbs to 231lbs as he kept fans constantly updated with photos of his massive, high-fat meals.
In his last update, he was pictured holding a packet of crisps and patting his stomach.
He wrote: "I wanted it, and I got it!"
But just a day after telling friends he felt poorly and calling off his gym sessions, the young trainer suffered a cardiac arrest in his sleep.
He has already been buried in his home city of Orenburg.
His official cause of death has not yet been disclosed.
