We are extremely excited to welcome you all back for our Autumn term and to get to know our new families joining our little lions pride!

We open on Monday 7th September, normal times of 9:15am-3:30pm.

Note to parents:

We wanted to raise your awareness that a Heat Health Alert (Amber) has been issued for the East of England. The amber heat health alert is in effect from 9am on 08/07/26 until 9pm on 12/07/26 across the East of England.

We are expecting temperatures to reach up to 33°C tomorrow. Little Lions will remain open unless we are advised otherwise.

If you would prefer to keep your child at home to stay cool, or collect them earlier than usual, that is absolutely fine. We kindly ask that you let us know in advance so we can record their absence as authorised.

We weren’t too confident with the stability of the structure, so they didn’t go inside. Instead, they sat outside their fort to do some singing, keeping cool in the shade!

Dear Parents and Carers,

Due to the current extreme temperatures, we have made the difficult decision to CLOSE the nursery early at 12:15pm on Friday this week.

We will always prioritise the children’s safety and health first and we know that Children under 5 are particularly vulnerable in high temperatures. Young children find it difficult to regulate their activity levels and keep themselves cool, even with constant staff support and hydration remains inconsistent despite encouragement.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused
