Just completed my first run in 2022. We have new goals to set and lots of hard training to complete. It’s best when your individual aims are achieved working alongside others with their own aims in mind. That way we can inspire each other.
Always remember your aims are best laid out in small manageable steps. There are always levels in sport - from amateur to elite to professional, yet we often feel negative about ourselves if we are anything less than awesome! Well, be happy where you are, have an aim and we will succeed. That’s all Taekwon-do is about.
Classes return from Wednesday 5th.
Happy new year!
Classes resume this Saturday 4th September.
Currently we are operating the following schedule
Saturdays 10-11am ages 6 - 12
Monday 6-7pm ages 7-12
Wednesday 6-7pm ages 7-12
Monday 7-8.30pm ages 13+
Wednesday 7-8.30pm ages 13+

At last we are training with some degree of confidence that we won’t be entering another lockdown period (we hope!). As we have reached the end of the academic year, and with lots of new students signed up it was time for a small celebration by way of the student of the year award presentation.
Edward Cai was selected for his determination and commitment to training missing all but 2 of the online classes during the lockdown periods and successfully grading to green tag level. Well done Edward! He received a trophy and ITF holdall
Special mentions went to Lousia Sartori, who trained regularly as well, grading to red tag, and James Hickey-Scammell who also trained regularly and graded to blue belt. Both received a gift mug with the text ‘Keep calm … I’m a martial arts expert’
All students received a participation medal and all students who trained online also received a gold star for their uniform.
Our classes for adults reopens from today:
Kids: Mondays and Wednesday 6-7pm; Saturdays 10-11am
Teens/Adults: Monday and Wednesday 7-8.30pm
Location: Lucozade Powerleague Finchley, N12 nr Summers Lane
For any one visiting this page we are currently locked down and training via zoom. We will be accepting new students for trial classes once the restrictions are eased. If you would like to train on line please contact me to discuss how it works.
Regards
Mr Jones, 3rd Degree Black Belt
