We will never forget that you helped to spread Chinese Kung Fu, Wing Tsun, from Europe to the world. Rest In Peace, my Si-Hing, GM Keith R. Kernspecht. 🙏🙏🙏

Like them, I started learning Wing Chun when I was very young. I hope these children will continue to learn Wing Tsun under my Italian students for as long as I did when I first started to study this very useful martial art.

Thank you for inviting me to Milazzo, Sicily. And I had a great time giving a three-days Wing Tsun seminar again.

Thank you for inviting me to Stockholm. Your country's capital is very beautiful, and I had a great time giving a one-day Wing Tsun seminar again.

Yesterday, I posted a very big fist compared to my small fist. It appears we have shocked the whole world! So, don't miss it as it's very rarely seen. Meanwhile, thanks, everyone, for liking it.

But one more thing you may be interested to see is what's behind the fists, and you may have missed it while being enthralled with the fists.

I'd like to introduce you to a wonderful artwork worthy of praise. This is a watercolour painting of a Wing Chun family tree.

The artist who painted it is the wife of my Egyptian student, Sifu Mohamed Nooh.

I've divided it into two pieces for everyone to view clearly. You can see four portraits. In the upper right corner is the founder, Ng Mui. In the upper left corner is the first generation GGM, Yim Wing Chun. In the lower right and left corners are the imaginary grandmasters before Yip Man.

Wow, what a big fist!

This picture reminds me of "Game of Death," the Bruce Lee movie. In the movie, Bruce Lee looks up and faces an opponent 7'4 "in cm, 223.52.
So, someone much taller than him.

Now, it is my turn to face a lot of students much taller than me in Europe and Egypt. Their fists are also bigger than mine!

In Chinese martial arts, we have a saying: "Boxing is afraid of being young and strong."

That saying can describe why boxers tend to retire in their mid-30s, or for that matter, any professional sports people.

But the situation is different for a Wing Tjun (芠昼) instructor. We still have to continue to teach and spar with much younger students, even though we may be over 60 years old. With age comes wisdom and experience, which becomes evident, especially in martial arts such as Wing Tjun.

So, my responsibility to myself and my martial art lies in this saying, "You still have to fight even though you are afraid to fight."

In fact, it applies to life in general, doesn't it? There is no other way for the sake of life.

Therefore, in addition to paying attention to health care, older people should learn self-defense because some crimes specifically target the elderly.

Focus on the centre line.

Focus on the centre line.

A martial arts practitioner who is new to sparring needs a coach to be guided step by step to passively defend and attack.

This is similar to how a boxing coach uses a focus mitt to guide his students on which punch to throw and where to hit it.

After a martial arts practitioner becomes proficient, they must take the initiative to attack and defend.

The enemy will not always attack up and down from both sides, but sometimes will attack between the enemy and ourselves. The faster a fighter moves, the more naturally they will use the straightest and shortest line.

We see this with objects too. The faster an object moves, it will hit the straightest and shortest straight line. When the speed slows down, it will tilt downward.

Therefore, the offensive and defensive techniques of Wing Tjun focus on the shortest straight line.
