It’s that time of year again when we launch a new year of the PTA LOTTO-2026/27!

🎉 What a Year🎉

As another fantastic school year comes to an end, we’d like to say a huge thank you to every single person who has supported the PTA.

Thanks to your incredible generosity, we’ve raised an amazing £35,700 for the school this year! ❤️💙

Your support has helped us do so much, including:
✨ Complete our new amphitheatre project using some of our reserves
📚 Provide brand-new books for every classroom library
🚸 Continue funding our wonderful crossing patrol officer, Allison
🎨 Contribute to classroom budgets
🚌 Cover the school minibus maintenance
🎉 And provide lots of extra treats, activities and experiences for all the children.

Whether you bought a raffle ticket, volunteered your time, donated a prize, attended an event or simply cheered us on, every contribution has made a real difference.

Thank you for being part of such a wonderful school community. We couldn’t do it without you, and we can’t wait to see what we can achieve together next year! 💙❤️

Looking for something fun to do this weekend? Come along to St Mary’s Summer Fun Day this Saturday, 11am–3pm – everyone’s welcome!

🎟️ Entry: £1 per person (children and adults aged 11+)
🎪 Unlimited inflatables wristband: £7 per child for unlimited use all day
💚 Children who don’t want to use the inflatables are welcome to attend without purchasing a wristband.

There’s something for the whole family, including:

🎪 Unlimited inflatables and family fun
🐾 Meet Bluey & Bingo at 12pm and 2pm
🎤 St Mary’s Got Talent performances
🎟️ Fantastic raffle prizes, including a £200 Smyths Toys voucher
🔍 Treasure Hunt around the school
🍔 BBQ, freshly made pizzas, sweet treats, ice creams and refreshments
🍹 Licensed bar for the grown-ups
🌱 Homegrown produce from the school allotment

The forecast is still changing, but whatever the weather brings, the fun day will be going ahead. We’re hoping for a pleasant, dry day, and if the sun makes an appearance we’ll even have a sprinkler set up near the activity area to help everyone cool down! 💦

There will be fresh deliveries arriving throughout the day or you can grab some on your way home for an easy pre-match dinner (much quicker than waiting for a takeaway to be delivered! 😉) ⚽️

St Mary’s Summer Fun Day – A Fantastic Family Day Out!

Join us for St Mary’s Summer Fun Day from 11am - 3pm for an action-packed day of fun, entertainment, food and family activities.

We would love to welcome everyone from our local community, especially any new families joining St Mary’s this September. It’s a great opportunity to meet other families, explore the school and enjoy a wonderful day together.

For just £7, children can enjoy unlimited use of all three inflatables, including:

* A huge 70ft Assault Course
* A Giant Slide
* A Bouncy Castle

To help keep the event affordable for larger families, families with 3 or more children will pay a maximum of £20 in total for children’s wristbands, including entry for up to 2 adults.

We’re also delighted to have Hugh from Adventure Learning (who many children will recognise from Forest School) running exciting activities throughout the day in the playground.

Other attractions include:

* Soccer Darts – £2 per go
* A Round-the-World Treasure Hunt – just £1 to enter. Find all 8 clues, solve the mystery word and win a prize!
* Delicious food and refreshments, including pizza, BBQ, sweets, toys and a fully stocked bar

And of course, the highlight of the day…

St Mary’s Got Talent!

This year marks the very first St Mary’s Got Talent, and we’re incredibly excited to showcase the amazing talents of our pupils. With 30 acts featuring children from Reception through to Year 6, the show promises to be a real highlight of the day. Expect singers, dancers, musicians, magicians, actors and even some impressive sporting skills. It’s a fantastic opportunity for our children to shine on stage and share their talents with family, friends and the wider school community. You won’t want to miss it!

There will also be our popular Children’s Raffle, with tickets available now and on the day for just £1 each.
