Charlie is a proud Mum of four and brings so much care, creativity, and positivity to Elephant Central. She loves supporting children to develop their motor skills, coordination, teamwork, and independence 🌟

This week we are shining the spotlight on Becky, our amazing Nursery Manager at Elephant Central!

Becky is a proud Mum to a 14-year-old and brings so much warmth, experience and passion to our nursery every day. She loves the honesty and imagination children bring, and especially enjoys watching those special “lightbulb moments” as they grow, learn and discover new things 🌟

We are so lucky to have Becky leading our team and helping create such a positive, joyful environment for the children every day 💕

We loved welcoming our preschool families in for our recent Stay & Play session! 😊

The children and their families participated in a variety of activities celebrating the Lunar New Year and the start of Ramadan.

To make it even more special, we celebrated Pancake Day together! 🥞 The children enjoyed sharing delicious pancakes with their families, choosing their favourite toppings, and practising their spreading skills.

This week, we are excited to introduce Carolina, our amazing Baby Room Practitioner at Elephant Central!

Carolina is currently studying her Level 3 and is passionate about supporting little ones as they grow and develop. 🌟

Her favourite activities with the children are all things messy! From playdough to paint to cornflour, Carolina loves encouraging the little ones to explore and have fun through sensory play 🎨

Carolina brings energy, creativity, and love for learning to our baby room every day. 💕

What a wonderful celebration we had at Elephant Central today! ✨📖

Our little cubs and staff arrived in the most amazing costumes and brought so many of their favourite stories and characters to life. We had everything from princesses, Gruffalos, Elmers, Zogs, Blippies, Hey Duggees, Sonic, Old MacDonald, Matilda, the Queen of Hearts, and even some of the 101 Dalmatians! 🌟

💖 Today has been full of imagination and a shared love of books. The children had so much fun showing off their outfits, reading together, and engaging in lots of fun story based activities.

This week, we are shining the spotlight on Minelver, our wonderful Toddlers Room Leader at Elephant Central 💕

Minelver loves creating a warm, inclusive environment where every child feels confident joining in and expressing themselves. She especially enjoys group activities that bring the children together and encourage teamwork, creativity and fun 🌈

We are so lucky to have her leading our toddlers and helping them grow every single day 💫

💗 Our toddlers at Elephant Central have enjoyed spending some time in our newly refurbished light room.

The soft lighting and sensory environment supported their focus and curiosity as they confidently explored and followed their own ideas. 💡

The little explorers in the Baloo Room at Elephant Central have been having fun discovering different textures and making marks with their fingers! ✨

They explored shaving foam, coloured paint, and Duplo blocks by dipping blocks to create patterns and squeezing the foam with their hands.

💡 A fantastic way to build creativity, fine motor skills, and sensory awareness. Well done, everyone! 🌟

Our little bear cubs in the Baloo Room here at Elephant Central have been enjoying a sensory adventure with Oobleck, sea animals, and shells! 🐳

They loved feeling the strange, squishy texture of the Oobleck, dipping the sea animals and shells into it, and discovering how it moved and changed. A fun, hands-on activity that sparks curiosity, creativity, and sensory learning. 💡

The preschoolers at Elephant Central had a fantastic time preparing their own tasty vegetarian tacos! 🧑‍🍳

They enjoyed using Quorn, fresh vegetables, and cheese while exploring new foods, flavours, and textures.

This hands-on cooking experience helped encourage curiosity, independence, and healthy food choices 🌱✨

We have been busy exploring colour recognition through creative play. Using paint and cotton wool balls, the children at Elephant Central enjoyed experimenting with different colours, developing their fine motor skills, and creating their very own unique masterpieces. 🎨 ✨
