British Violin Making Association The British Violin Making Association is one of the foremost violin making associations, with about 500 members based both in the UK and abroad.

Its activities fall into two main categories; events and publications.

The BVMA will be hosting BVMA Violin Makers' Day on Sunday 3rd March 2013 at the Old Sessions House on Clerkenwell Green in London. The BVMA will be hosting a 'Study Day' on Sunday 18th September at the Royal College of Music in London to explore 5-string cellos and examine the Kessler Collection of English Viols.
