We made the most of the sunshine this week, enjoying lots of water play, and watching our plants and our living earth come to life. From frog ponds to koi ponds to boats, giggles and curiosity, it's been a week full of sunshine and lots of fun!

Penguin Day 🐧🌊🌞 fun in our blue, lavender-scented water play
The children loved pretending to be penguins, swimming, playing, and sharing ideas together. They kept returning to the play, creating “colonies,” catching penguins and “icebergs,” turning the lavender into penguin food, and building a boat tower!
A lovely way to build communication, teamwork, fine motor skills, imaginative play and expanding our understanding of the world.

We had a lovely afternoon learning about Puffins for World Puffin Day.

Did you know that a puffin’s beak changes colour from bright orange in spring and summer to grey in the colder months?

The children then coloured in some colourful puffins of their own, making their own creative choices!

We also talked about how puffins need our help, as their numbers are dwindling.😔
We made a donation to the RSPB to help support their work.

We have been preparing for Orthodox Easter with joy, tradition, and a little creativity. 🥚🐣🎉

Our children dyed beautiful red eggs, which symbolise new life and renewal, shared delicious treats from
including traditional flaounes (enjoyed at Easter) and various delicious pastries, and took part in the classic egg tapping game with their families! 🥚❤️

We also had so much fun getting creative, making play dough eggs, lighting candles, and sharing the light with our friends 🕯️🕯️
