So… this happened. 😅⚡

A few days before one of our 3-day hands-on LDS3 courses, we received a letter from the council saying there was going to be an emergency power cut in the area for 24 hours because they needed to repair a broken cable.

And of course… the power cut was planned for the first day of our course. 😱

Which meant our students could potentially lose a whole day of their training.

We did think about cancelling. But these students had travelled, booked everything and, most importantly, put their trust in us.

So… cancelling wasn’t really an option.

We had about 48 hours to sort it out.

And honestly, those 48 hours were a bit chaotic! 😂

We found a hall, hired a van, moved all the equipment, and got everything ready at the new location.

Then we thought… what if that doesn’t work?

So we came up with a second plan and hired giant power banks as a backup! 😂

Luckily, we didn’t need them.

The course went ahead, the students got their full day of hands-on training, and everything worked out.

Then, on day two, we had to pack everything up again and move it all back!

It was exhausting. It was expensive. And it was definitely not what we had planned.

But seeing the students complete the course and achieve 100% success made every bit of it worth it. 🦷💜

Sometimes things just don’t go according to plan.

You just have to find a way around them.

And when our students are counting on us, that’s exactly what we’ll do. 💪✨
