For the last Free On Fridays concert of the academic year, tutor Christopher Sobieski introduces to the Conservatoire the harp for the first time. The concert explores famous melodies from across the musical soundscape from world famous composers Liszt, Paganini and Handel to harp virtuosos Grandjany, Maudlin and Godfriod. It showcases the evolution of the harp and its expansion across the world from its roots in Paris, out to its new presence in the United States, Russia, Japan and the UK.
