Pierogi masterclass from with ! Such a lovely afternoon spent learning new skills and listening to these two gorgeous women talk about the history and heritage of the dumpling 🥟 This was edible therapy and all in celebration of new book and raising funds to support Ukraine 💙💛🇺🇦

Thank you so much ladies - the whole family LOVED them! Please forgive the Somerset twist with ricotta and cheddar … but it worked a treat! Tomorrow I’m cooking the chocolate ones!! Xx

Our first morning waking up without her. I couldn’t drink my morning tea out of anything else today … I think James’ grandmother must have bought this mug in 1977 at the Silver Jubilee. We’ve had it as long as I can remember. In fact, I’ve just worked out that it’s lived in 8 of our kitchen cupboards (not the additional 2 in serviced accommodation as it was in storage) around the world over the last 18 years. It feels like the embodiment of the Queen’s unwavering constancy that we took for granted all our lives. Quietly standing by, but always ready when needed. Unbreakable. The one you turn to in a crisis. Our centre of gravity. I wish I could make everyone a cup of tea this morning. Thank you Ma’am. Rest well. ✨

Created in response to the war in Ukraine; Zoe & Friends , have come together to make this very special quilt to raise money for the Disaster Emergencies Committee Ukraine Appeal run by . The quilt features 25 individually sewn panels representing the 24th of February, the day Russia invaded Ukraine. The final quilt measures 163cm x 163cm.

Each panel is individual and unique, stitched with the hope of peaceful times for those in Ukraine. A wide range of textile techniques have been used including patchwork, quilting, applique and embroidery. The range of styles and techniques represent the many individual stories and experiences of Ukrainians at war, while the colour and imagery unite the many narratives.

Everyone who donates will be entered in a draw with a chance to win this wonderful quilt. The draw will take place on the 6th of January, 2023. Please leave your contact details when you donate if you would like to be eligible for the prize draw.

We must not forget, in all this horror, that our capacity as humans for kindness is also extraordinary. Inspired by Alissa and Olia; two utterly unrelenting forces whose tenacity and conviction amaze me daily. They have garnered support and funds from our industry and beyond, in all four corners of the globe. What an incredible feat. So utterly proud to support their extraordinary feat, along with some true giants in our community. Your hearts are fierce, your strength is boundless, we are all so grateful for all that you do! Just look what can be achieved when we 💙💛🇺🇦🥰

Lovely Nick and his team in Stoke on Trent just rounded up their donation to £600, raised in just 7 days! Can you imagine what would happen if every butcher in England did the same🤔💭🤯💥?!

It just keeps coming!! The awesome team committed to matching every penny raised last month from sales of their chicken Kyivs. Which enabled them to donate £1027.50 to the imagine if everyone reading this could encourage their local butcher to do the same!
