We’re back! It’s been a great two weeks back at Clarion and already so much is underway.

We have had Middlesex University join us for a student seminar with our Year 12 and 13s, installed a new fish tank and started our first student marine biology team, Greenhouse Sports are running our new table tennis and tennis sessions, Enrichment Wednesdays are back, Robotics Club are preparing for new competitions and our Year 7s had a visit from the mobile zoo!

Huge congratulations to our incredible Year 11 students on their GCSE results. The outcome of years of hard work, resilience, and determination. We are so proud of every single one of you.

From outstanding grades to personal bests, today is a testament to what you can achieve when you back yourself and never stop striving. Whatever comes next; Sixth Form, college, an apprenticeship, you’ve built the foundation to make it happen. The Clarion community is behind you every step of the way. 💙

Huge congratulations to our Year 13s on their A Level results today! We are so proud of everything you’ve achieved and the hard work and commitment you demonstrated to get here.

We were delighted to have Sarah Sackman MP join us today for a discussion on the social media ban for under 16s. A panel of our students had the opportunity to share their views and experience. They also shared how the practical phone ban policy we implement here at Clarion, supports their education and social lives.

Students shared some of their concerns and ideas for safer social media use, as well as which age they believe the ban should come into effect for.

We appreciate Sarah taking the time to hear their voices and encouraging our students to stay active in the political process.

This week Clarion is delighted to welcome students from the High School affiliated to Beijing Normal University Beijing Normal University as part of our Cultural Exchange Programme.

They will take part in a range of classes and trips as part of our programme, alongside their Clarion buddies who will support them through the week.

This is one of our students highlights of the year as they make new friends and learn about each others cultures and interests ✨ This is following a special trip for a number of our students, who visited Beijing earlier this year.

On the 2nd of July, Mr Hunt and Mrs Stephenson will be guest speakers discussing out breakthrough Trusted Adult scheme. They will share how Clarion transformed its culture by ensuring every student has a trusted adult.
