Readathon Week: 22–26 June 📚✨

We’re excited to be taking part in this year’s Readathon from Monday 22nd June to Friday 26th June! During the week, students are encouraged to read as much as they can – anything they enjoy. They don’t need to finish entire books – every page and every minute of reading counts.

Students will receive sponsorship forms, and can log reading completed at school, on the bus, at home, or anywhere they choose. Anything raised will go to Read For Good, an amazing cause that supplies children in hospital with books and storytelling.

To create a focused reading environment, the library will be open at lunchtime exclusively for Readathon participants during this week. There will be no chess or computer use at this time, just a dedicated space for students to enjoy reading.
Let’s get reading and make every page count! 📚

Congratulations to Star Students! ⭐️✨

Last week, we were proud to celebrate our ‘Star of the Lesson Gold’ students. These students, the top 60 recipients with the most Star of the Lessons, celebrated with cakes, popcorn and drinks with Dr Sanderson.🍿🍬

It was a fantastic opportunity to recognise not only academic effort, but also the positive attitudes and contributions that embody our values. 💚

A huge congratulations to all involved - these students truly represent the very best of our school community. 📚

An excellent day at the Debate Mate Cup at Northeastern University this term! 🎤

With only one prepared debate and just 10 minutes to prepare the other two, our Year 8–10 students showed impressive thinking on their feet. Sophisticated debating, confident speeches and outstanding teamwork throughout. We’re incredibly proud of them 👏
