One of the biggest mistakes I see?

Women trying to improve thyroid function while ignoring everything that influences it.

Your body doesn't operate in isolated parts.

Thyroid health, digestion, bile flow, liver function, hormones, stress, and metabolism are all connected.

That's why I never focus on just the thyroid.

I focus on the systems that support it.

Because real results happen when the whole body starts working together. 💛

Read this 👇

Some doctors and surgeons are absolutely incredible.

Medicine has saved countless lives, and many doctors do remarkable work every day. I’m genuinely grateful for modern medicine and the people behind it.

But here’s something important:

Authority does not automatically equal accuracy.

And that doesn’t just apply to doctors.

It applies to nutritionists, personal trainers, coaches, influencers, and anyone giving advice.

No one has all the answers.

I’ve seen people given advice about their weight, thyroid, hormones, and health that simply wasn’t correct.

Not because someone was trying to harm them, but because they were speaking beyond their expertise.

The lesson?

Respect expertise, but don’t hand over responsibility for your health.

Ask questions.

Stay curious.

Seek second opinions when needed.

Become an informed advocate for your own health.

Because nobody will care about your health as much as you do.

Your metabolism is not automatically “broken” after 40.

The body simply becomes less tolerant of:
poor sleep, chronic stress, low muscle mass, under-eating protein, and running on survival mode.

Hormones matter.

But so do:
✔️ muscle mass
✔️ insulin sensitivity
✔️ thyroid function
✔️ recovery
✔️ lifestyle habits

Your body may not need punishment.

It may just need better support. 💛

It’s 95% in the subconscious

I don’t talk about the subconscious as much with thyroid women …..

Why?

Because I know thyroid weight loss isn’t just about mindset and food

It’s also about hormones, sleep, stress, metabolism, gut health, and understanding what your body actually needs.

But here’s what I can’t ignore:

You’re still a human being.

And the same rule applies.

Your subconscious mind is making around 95% of your food choices.

Not because you’re weak.
Not because you don’t want results

Because your brain is designed to run familiar patterns automatically.

For thyroid women, this can show up as subtle self-sabotage.

Not necessarily binge eating.

But 🤏 inconsistent.

Starting and stopping.
Doing well for a few days, then slipping back into old habits.

Knowing what to do, but not doing it consistently enough to create the results your body needs.

And it can be very subtle:

Going to bed too late
Not drinking enough water
Skipping meals
Not eating enough protein
Sitting too much
(One thing one day, another the next)

And here’s the hard truth:

Women with thyroid issues often need to be even MORE consistent than the average person to see results.

So until your subconscious is working with you instead of against you, you’ll keep fighting the same battle over and over.
