This weekend we’re supporting Children with Cancer UK and we’d love all of our Jigsaw families to get involved!

Every pound raised will help support the incredible work that Children with Cancer UK do for children and families across the UK.

Today we’re celebrating the incredible teachers who make Jigsaw Potters Bar such a special place to learn, create and grow.

Our teachers do so much more than teach performing arts. They build confidence, nurture creativity, encourage friendships and help every child feel seen and valued.

Their passion, dedication and energy make a lasting difference to the lives of our students each and every week, and we are incredibly grateful for everything they do.

To our amazing team, thank you for inspiring the next generation and for being at the heart of what we do. 💙

A snippet from the Carnival yesterday 🎪

Wow wow wow wow!

What a day yesterday we was, we blogged the whole day from start to finish so we will share with you but we wanted to quickly recap what that day looked like.

🧩 Meg & the team decorated the float and the jigmobile with the theme being WORLD CUP
🧩 Drove to the start of the parade and met all of our wonderful students joining us
🧩 Chanted and danced are way through the streets of potters bar, sharing the jigsaw Joy
🧩 Finished the parade and met at the DJ booth to get in some quick rehearsals
🧩 Then it was time for us to go on stage
🧩Jigsaw Potters Bar started with a house track to get people moving!
Followed by our new sister school Jigsaw High Barnet, partying the arena with a mash up.
Then Jigsaw Barnet main school danced their way through an absolute classic.
To end we had our Jigsaw Youth Theatre share a snippet from their mini musical - legally blonde
🧩 Steph and the team continued to spread the jigsaw joy at our stall. Children and families winning prizes of free terms, free places at summer camps, sweets and jigsaw merch!

Wow what a day, thank you to all the staff for their hard work and dedication towards the schools. Our parent volunteers who marched their way through the streets with us! And our students for outshining themselves every single time - what a community!

They won't remember every line they learned, or every dance step they practised….

But they will remember:

🎭 The improv joke that made everybody laugh

🫂 The friend who sat next to them on their very first day

🧙‍♀️ The character they invented in drama

🌟 The moment they first performed in front of their family and friends

💙 The teacher who believed in them

🧩 The feeling of belonging somewhere

That’s what we hope children take away from Jigsaw!

Not perfection.
Not pressure.

Just confidence, creativity, friendships, and a place where children can truly be themselves. 💫

We have a variety of local organisations joining us this Sunday including Furzefield Centre, The Warren Dramatics Group and Jigsaw Performing Arts School Potters Bar who have a stall and will be performing 😄

We are so excited to be back this Sunday, taking part in the Potters Bar Carnival Parade, performing in the Arena, and spreading the Jigsaw joy at our stall throughout the day! 🌟
