🌿 Forest School Wilderness Warriors in Action! 🌿
So, The Bumblebees and Ladybirds joined forces to tidy up the field, while the Caterpillars took care of the car park! 💪✨
We enjoyed some lovely conversations about how rubbish can harm our planet and how, by working together, we can help make the Earth a healthier place. 🌎💚
The children turned some of the rubbish into a special garden fence decoration, a bright reminder to care for the world around us every day. 🌸♻️
And when the hard work was done, there was a queue for the famous Learning Tree mud slide! 😄

🌳 Forest School Plans for Today 🌳
Today at Forest School we’ll be focusing on caring for our environment. Nature takes care of us both physically and mentally, so it’s our job to take care of it too 💚
After noticing litter left in our field, the children will become Wilders Warriors, getting stuck in to help clear it up. We’ll be talking about recycling and how we can turn what we find into something meaningful — a reminder to respect and protect our natural world 🌍
We’re looking forward to a day of teamwork, responsibility, and outdoor learning.

As many of our children have been joyfully sharing their experiences of decorating Christmas trees at home, we decided it was the perfect time to gather some natural materials and decorate our loose parts to create our own Christmas tree at nursery, Bumblebee style. 🐝🎄

✨ Today was all about recognising our feelings!
We began with a story that helped us explore and recognise different emotions. The children then expressed themselves creatively by painting their feelings on paper plate faces 🎨.
In the afternoon, we topped it off with an exciting STEM activity – Feelings Pop! 🧪 Using food colouring, egg whites, bicarbonate of soda, and vinegar, the children watched their emotions fizz and pop, solidifying their learning throughout the day.
It was a wonderful mix of storytelling, creativity, and science – all centred around understanding our feelings. 💡💛

As we celebrate England Women’s win over The Netherlands (phew! 😅), The Bumblebees have been getting into the football spirit by predicting the score for our home nations clash: England v Wales this weekend!
It’s looking like a close one—predictions are coming in pretty evenly, and excitement is running high! ⚽ The children have loved sharing their thoughts, discussing teams, and making their voices heard. We can’t wait to see whose predictions come true! 🎉
