As well as it being Christmas-time, it is also the festival of Chanukah. Gaia and I had a wonderful lesson improvising in the style of Chanukah songs (ie in a minor key 😉). Gaia is 4 years’ old and already showing amazing musicality. Watch til the end for the big finish!

Kieran opened the concert with a brilliantly dramatic performance of Burgmuller’s The Storm. He really took to this piece and captured both the drama and the mood change towards the end. Very proud of him!

An awesome afternoon at a Sound Production studio in London with some of my students. We learnt all about the process of producing a song from initial concept through to release. And Keiva and Thomas both played their own original compositions in the studio and got some incredible feedback!
