The City of Arts and Sciences is one of Valencia’s most well-known places. It sits in the former Turia riverbed and is famous for its modern buildings and open spaces. Here you can visit the Science Museum, the Hemisfèric with films and shows, and the Oceanogràfic, which is the largest aquarium in Europe. It’s a great place to walk around, learn something new, and enjoy Valencia’s modern side.

With SHIP Valencia by Spanish Express, students visit places like this with their host teacher Pilar. She takes students from her home to the city centre, helping them practise Spanish while exploring real places, asking questions, and having everyday conversations.
