What a fantastic way to wrap up the final week of our Summer Holiday Club at Avon House Prep School! ☀️🎨⚽🌈
From creative crafts and exciting games to outdoor adventures, sports, team challenges and so much more, every day was packed full of fun. Our amazing staff worked incredibly hard to make sure every child had a memorable experience, and seeing so many smiling faces made it all worthwhile.
A huge thank you to all the children who joined us this summer – we hope you had as much fun as we did! 💙

☀️ School may be out for the summer, but the learning, laughter and adventure continue at Avon House Prep School Holiday Club.
Our Holiday Club offers a vibrant programme of activities designed to inspire creativity, encourage friendships and make the most of the holiday season. From refreshing splash pool fun and hands-on cooking sessions to team games, picnics, outdoor adventures and plenty of opportunities to explore and play, every day is filled with new experiences.
These special moments are what make summer at Avon House so memorable. We are delighted to share a glimpse into the fun our children have been enjoying.

Today, our Year 6 pupils signed out for the very last time as primary school students. We are so proud of everything they have achieved and the wonderful young people they have become.

The Avon House PTA Summer Fête was in full swing this afternoon! ☀️🎉
With a bouncy castle, BBQ, face painting, cake sales, a bustling tombola, and the ever-popular chance to throw wet sponges at Mr Thornley, there was something for everyone to enjoy.
A huge thank you to our fantastic PTA, volunteers, staff and everyone who came along to support the event. It was a wonderful afternoon full of laughter, community spirit and all the fun of the fair! 🎪🍰

With temperatures soaring, our cast and crew showed remarkable resilience, professionalism and spirit, bringing the Pride Lands to life in front of a delighted audience. We couldn’t be prouder of their hard work and dedication.

If you went down to The Woodford Wells on Friday, you would have been sure of a big surprise! Avon House early years children came together for a ‘beary’ good time at their Teddy Bears’ Picnic!

Pupils from Puffins, Mallards and Kingfishers gathered with their favourite cuddly companions for an afternoon packed with fun and games. Enjoying delicious sandwiches and teddy bear-shaped biscuits, taking part in exciting picnic games and sharing lots of smiles, laughter and bubbles together.

Once our pupils had finished their picnic adventure they settling down together for a special story, giving everyone a chance to relax with their teddies after such a busy time.

What a wonderful way to celebrate a year of interhouse achievements this week, with the Morris, Pankhurst, Cavell and Churchill house breakfasts taking place.

From Monday to today, each of our four school house leads welcomed parents to a special breakfast gathering, sharing highlights and memories from the year gone by.

From captivating poetry readings and talented instrumental performances to impressive small group singing, every event showcased the creativity and teamwork of our Avon House pupils.

The mornings have been a fantastic opportunity to reflect on a successful year and celebrate all that has been achieved together.
