St. Peters Pre-school

The children have had lots of fun in the sunshine over the past couple of weeks.

The children had a fantastic Coronation party today. Lots of fun was had, face paints, tattoos, hook a duck, tin can alley and lots of delicious treats. The children are all partied out!

The children have had a fun couple of weeks making the most of the nice weather. They have been searching for bugs, observing Norman the Newt and enjoying themselves in the sunshine.

We have had a very busy start to the year. We have celebrated pancake day, world book day and taken part in lots of fun and messy activities, and now we are preparing for Mother’s Day.

Our term so far …..

Today to used up our Halloween pumpkins, we made pumpkin soup and pumpkin scones… the children enjoyed this cooking activity and trying the delicious food afterwards.

A very busy and scary week at Pre-school this week. We have had lots of fun with Halloween activities.

Lots of fun has been had this past couple of weeks. The children have been having fun in the garden, making cakes for our Macmillan coffee morning and exploring different sounds with the instruments. We had a mini daddy day care session and the children were very excited when our new puppet show arrived.
Thank you to everyone who contributed and donated to the Macmillan coffee morning, it is a worthy charity.

Term is well and truly under way. The children have all settled back in and are very busy having lots of fun.

On this sad day as we bid our final farewell to HRH Queen Elizabeth, I wanted to share the tribute that the children prepared for her this week at Pre-school, and to thank Miss Donnelly for placing it along with all the other tributes.

School is out for summer! The children had a fab last couple of weeks at pre-school, spending lots of time in the garden in the beautiful sunshine, enjoying a cheeky ice pole, running through the sprinkler to keep cool and we saw the term out in style with a fab summer party.
I would like to take this opportunity on behalf of the whole team to thank the parents for all of our cards and gifts. They are very much appreciated.
We wish our school leavers the very best of luck at big school and can’t wait to see the children that will be returning in September. Have a wonderful summer. X
