We have a music studio/rehearsal space in Battersea where we run accredited courses in filmmaking, music technology, guitar and keyboards. We also take bookings for parties and events with music from reggae to jazz. Canerows and Plaits supports people in local mental health wards by a peer visiting service and consults service users to improve local mental health services. Awards:

We’re hiring: Head of Operations 🎨🎶

Sound Minds is looking for a passionate, organised and collaborative Head of Operations to join our senior leadership team in Wandsworth.

We’re a user-led charity transforming lives through music, film and art — building a creative community rooted in mental health, mutual learning and peer support.

In this role, you’ll help lead the day-to-day operations of our vibrant community premises, supporting our people, systems, programmes, safeguarding, evaluation and future growth.

Salary: £42,833 pro rata + 3% pension contribution

Hours: 28 hours per week

Location: Wandsworth, London

Closing date: 10:00am, Monday 7 September 2026

At Sound Minds, peer support is rooted in lived experience, creativity, and community — helping people move towards their own goals with the right support around them.

If you have lived experience of mental health challenges and want to use that to support others, we’d love to hear from you.
