A very VIP Wine Tours & Events happy birthday to Karen!
There wouldn’t be a wine tour without her and her phenomenal organisation and always with a smile.
Have a fabulous day Karen - with a large glass of wine!

To our amazing guests who joined us on tour with VIP Wine Tours & Events in Provence we are so sad to share that Oscar, Domaine Mirabeau’s vineyard dog, has passed away.
Oscar was the Maison’s de facto head of security and cherished friend and companion of the Cronk family and will be much missed.
Sleep tight Oscar 🐾

Yesterday evening with VIP Wine Tours & Events guests were treated to a traditional Portuguese dinner at a local restaurant with Alentejo wines with each course paired by Richard.
There was time for one last glass of wine by the hotel pool afterwards too!
It’s our final day today and we’re heading to Setubal.

A treat to show our VIP Wine Tours & Events guests how a wine cork stats its life.
A cork tree has to be at least 43 years old before it can be suitably harvested for wine cork production and can then only be harvested every 9 years.
Most of the world’s wine corks are produced only from Portuguese cork trees - and that’s a lot of trees!
What a fantastic visit and you can make more from cork than you might think!
