We are delighted to announce that ISL has been officially accredited by the IB to offer the IB Career-related Programme (CP) in Enterprise & Entrepreneurship from September!

The CP brings together the rigour of an IB education with real-world, career-focused learning - ideal for students ready to build practical skills in applied knowledge, critical thinking, communication, and cross-cultural understanding. This programme empowers globally minded, culturally intelligent students to thrive across borders and succeed in today’s fast-moving world of business and entrepreneurship.

The career-related study will be offered through a Pearson Level 3 BTec Nationals Diploma in Enterprise & Entrepreneurship. Students will also choose 2-4 IB Diploma subjects (part of the CP) from the Humanities, Languages and Maths subject groups.

And through our partnership with Brentford FC (our partner for the student athletes’ provision) students will have the opportunity to gain hands-on enterprise experience with the renowned football club!

🔬🥼🌟 Our students brought science to life through creativity, innovation and collaboration at the ISL Science Exhibition: Science in Action!

Our young scientists-in-the-making - the PYP Science Challenge Club - ran an interactive station with fascinating hands on experiments. Grade 8 students explored ‘Science in Action’ by developing projects that applied their understanding to real-world contexts, while Grade 9 students focused on ‘Innovations in Science’, investigating how scientific principles can be used to improve the function of machines. Meanwhile, our Grade 11 students impressed us with their Collaborative Science Projects, showcasing strong teamwork, in-depth inquiry and confident science communication.

It was inspiring to see critical thinking and passion for science on display - well done to all! 👏

The ISL Theatre Company is looking forward to the opening night of their latest production, Singin’ in the Rain, this week!

Behind many memorable moments at our school is a dedicated group of people who give their time, energy and creativity to strengthen our community – our wonderful PTA.

Throughout the year, the PTA works tirelessly, often behind the scenes, to organise events and initiatives that enrich school life for our students, families and staff. Their efforts create not just events, but lasting memories and connections across our school community.

This week provided another example of their generosity and kindness when they hosted a Staff Recognition Buffet to celebrate our teachers and staff. It was a joyful occasion featuring delicious food, thoughtful gifts and lots of fun! Most importantly, it was a heartfelt expression of appreciation for everyone at ISL who supports, inspires and cares for our students every day.

We are very grateful for the PTA’s ongoing commitment – helping to create the vibrant, supportive community that makes our school so special.

🎓✨ Our Grade 12 Graduation was a wonderful evening filled with celebration, reflection and emotion. Held in the heart of central London at the world-renowned King’s College London, the event marked the culmination of our students’ IB Diploma Programme journey and celebrated all they have achieved along the way.

Congratulations to our Grade 12 graduates for their dedication, resilience and commitment throughout their time at ISL. Alongside academic success, they leave with the confidence to navigate different cultures, collaborate across perspectives, and embrace the opportunities and challenges of an ever-changing world.

We also extend our sincere thanks to the families who have supported them every step of the way, and to the ISL staff and teachers whose care, expertise and encouragement continue to shape each student’s journey.

🩺🧑‍⚕️ Grade 9 & 10 students enjoyed an exciting Career in Health workshop with Medical Mavericks, bringing science to life through hands-on activities and real medical equipment. Students had the opportunity to explore, experiment and ask questions, making the experience both engaging and memorable.

The session gave students a chance to see how science is used in healthcare - and encouraged them to start thinking about where their interest in science could take them in the future! 💫
