🇫🇷 FROM THE WEST END STAGE TO BIG TIME…

We’re so excited to reveal our Friday West End Workshop leader: Jessica Johns-Parsons! 🎭✨

Jessica trained at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, a particularly special one for us, as it’s also where our founder trained. Jessica then continued her training at the prestigious Royal Academy of Music.

For the past three years, Jessica has been performing in the West End company of LES MISÉRABLES, playing Factory Girl and Wigmaker, as well as covering the iconic role of Madame Thénardier. 🇫🇷

And now our students get to experience what it’s like to rehearse the show themselves…

🎶 THE WORKSHOP

Jessica will teach the opening number from Les Misérables, starting with the vocals before staging the number as it is performed in the West End theatre each night.

Students will get a real insight into the rehearsal process, performance style and level of detail that goes into performing in one of the world’s most iconic musicals.

The session will finish with a Q&A with Jessica, giving students the chance to ask about life in Les Misérables, drama school, professional training and working in the West End.

Learn a bit about Ellie ❤️
“MT performer graduating from the University of Chichester with a First-Class Honours degree in Musical Theatre. Since my first professional job as Sandy on the UK tour of Grease, I have been lucky enough to perform both internationally, regionally and in London’s West End for the past 6 years, gaining invaluable experience in the arts. Most recently playing Sophie Sheridan in the hit musical - Mamma Mia!

Alongside performing, I love sharing the knowledge and experience I have gained throughout my career with aspiring performers. I believe the studio should be a space where creativity and freedom are encouraged, allowing students to learn, explore and grow whilst, most importantly, having fun. My aim is to create an open and supportive environment where every performer can be themselves and enjoy the process.”

The session includes a workshop on the show and a Q&A with Ellie.

Booking opens soon, so follow us to be the first to know.
