Well done, August! ☀️

This month, learning may have looked like reading outside, measuring ingredients in the kitchen, following a map on a family day out or discovering a completely new fact.

It may also have meant resting, trying something different or becoming a little more confident.

Take a moment to celebrate what your child enjoyed, attempted and learned this month—and carry those small wins into September.

Reading regularly helps children build vocabulary, improve focus and understand ideas more clearly. It also gives their imagination space to grow.

And it does not have to feel like homework. A cosy spot, a good book and a little quiet time can be enough.

Encourage your child to make reading part of their everyday routine ahead of the new school term.

✨ Small steps. Big results.

Confidence isn’t built overnight. It’s built one worksheet, one achievement and one success at a time.

At Kumon, every child progresses at their own pace, building strong maths and English skills while developing independence, resilience and a love of learning.

𝗚𝗖𝗦𝗘 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘀 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲! 🎉

To every Year 11 student opening their results today - well done!

Whatever grades are on that piece of paper, take a moment to recognise how far you’ve come. The revision, the early mornings, the pressure, the nerves, the exams themselves - you made it through.

Some of you will be celebrating exactly the results you hoped for. Others may be feeling disappointed or unsure about what comes next.

Either way, today is only one part of your journey. Your grades do not define everything you are capable of achieving.

Be proud of the work you put in, celebrate the progress you’ve made, and take your next step from here.

Their famous pink colour comes from natural pigments in the algae and small crustaceans they eat.
