Anthropic launches Claude Science

Anthropic has introduced Claude Science, a version of Claude designed specifically for scientists and pharmaceutical research. It is aimed at accelerating tasks such as protein modeling, drug discovery, and other life sciences research, marking a significant expansion beyond general-purpose AI into specialized scientific applications. Anthropic says it will apply stricter access controls for future models with more advanced biological capabilities because of biosecurity concerns
