We talk a lot about virtual vs in-person learning.

But that might be the wrong debate.

In a world of constant communication - emails, messages, virtual meetings - genuine human connection is becoming rarer.

Yet it’s often the thing that drives collaboration, trust and behavioural change.

Our new insight paper explores how L&D teams can rebalance blended learning, using in-person moments intentionally rather than by default.

Two insights that stood out:

• Organisations with stronger connectedness are 5.4× more likely to be agile
• In-person teams generate 15–20% more ideas than virtual ones

2️⃣ Desire – Do they see personal value in it?
3️⃣ Authority – Do they feel supported by their manager?
