As we celebrate 40 years of Dolphin School, we’re looking back on one of our most treasured traditions: residential trips.

For generations of Dolphin pupils, these adventures have been so much more than a few days away from home. They are opportunities to grow in confidence, deepen friendships, discover new strengths, and experience the joy of learning beyond the classroom.

There is something special about exploring the outdoors together. Walking through forests, climbing hills, sharing meals, laughing around a campfire, and tackling challenges side by side creates bonds that can last a lifetime. In a safe and trusted environment, children learn resilience, teamwork, responsibility, and trust - not only in one another, but in themselves.

Residentials remind us of the wonder of God’s creation. Away from busy routines and screens, pupils have the chance to connect with nature, to be inspired by the beauty of the world around them, and to experience a sense of adventure that sparks curiosity and joy.

For 40 years, these trips have helped shape the Dolphin story - creating memories, friendships, and moments that pupils carry with them long after they leave our school.

40 Years of Dolphin School

For four decades Dolphin School has been so much more than a school. It has been a place of friendship laughter creativity adventure and belonging. A place where memories were made and lives were shaped.

This June we are bringing generations of Dolphin families together for a very special Great Celebration and we would love to welcome back former pupils parents and staff from across the past 40 years.

Join us to reconnect with old friends share stories reminisce over treasured memories and celebrate the wonderful community that has made Dolphin what it is today.

Expect drinks nibbles entertainment familiar faces and plenty of moments to look back on the magic of Dolphin through the years.

If you cannot attend in person we would still love you to be part of the celebration by sharing photographs stories and memories with us.
