Watch how a student speaks about their ability to do the work that is set. It speaks volumes. If their teacher didn't think they could do it, then they wouldn't have set it.

If you don't have the patience to teach your children, then leave it to others to teach them. Getting frustrated with children because they don't understand a thing causes more harm than good. Teaching is to be done with love and patience.

We all love encouragement and being told we have done something well, so be your students best cheerleader. It does so many things:

1. Shows the student that you recognise their achievements.
2. Excites the student to want to learn more.
3. Brings healing against any past negative words the student may have heard while learning.

And that's all just by a simple high-five, "well done" or a sticker of achievement! 🌟

Whether you are teaching a subject, how to keep their room tidy or even being a good friend, consistency is key!
