The spark was ignited at school. The dedication and hours of practice on and off the water have paid off. Huge congratulations to St Paul's Girls' School alumna Valentina Fenton on her exceptional performance at the World Rowing U23 Championships in Germany this month.

Representing Great Britain in the Women’s Pair, Valentina made her U23 debut alongside teammate Anna Cowell and the pair comfortably booked their spot in the semi-finals. They narrowly missed the A-final after being pipped on the line, but went on to win the B-final.

Valentina’s rowing journey has been inspiring to follow - from competing for Great Britain at the Coupe de la Jeunesse in 2023 and becoming the Henley Women’s Regatta Champion in 2024. We are hugely proud of her achievements.

The Old Library looked a little different recently! 🎈🥂

Rather than its usual atmosphere of quiet concentration, there were celebrations to welcome back the class of 2001 for their 25th anniversary reunion. We loved hearing where life has taken everyone since they were students here.

Thank you to everyone who returned to make it such a special milestone evening!

Reunited on the Marble again!

We were absolutely delighted to welcome back alumnae from the classes of 1976 and 1986 for their milestone reunions this week. On a tour of St Paul's Girls' School they could explore old haunts and visit the amazing new spaces that have been added since their time here. Decades may have passed since they walked the corridors as students, but the moment the archives came out, the years instantly melted away! ⏳

It was inspiring to see old friendships rekindled and new professional and personal connections forged. Our alumnae network continues to be a powerhouse of talent, leadership, and mutual support.

A huge thank you to everyone who traveled from near and far to celebrate with us. Once a Paulina, always a Paulina!

We're thrilled to share exciting news of alumna Sophia Membery. As part of her role as organ scholar at Pembroke College, Cambridge, Sophia had the opportunity to perform on an album with Sony Music Classical. The newly released album by Anna Lapwood - 'Arise Shine' - marks the conclusion of Anna’s tenure as Director of Music at Pembroke.

The album is a deeply personal project, highlighting Anna’s close connection to the Pembroke Chapel Choir and her committed mentoring of the students. A beautiful blend of the traditional and the contemporary, it showcases the unique musical spirit of the choir. Sophia played the organ on the title track, 'Arise Shine', composed by Anna. You might have caught Sophia performing this at the Royal Albert Hall during the 2025 BBC Proms!

She also played the harp and sang for the remainder of the tracks on the album.

Whether you’re a fan of traditional choral repertoire or modern reinterpretations, 'Arise Shine' is a must-listen. You can find the album on Spotify, Apple Music, and all major streaming platforms and it's already a best seller on Amazon!

Progress. Generosity. Purpose ✨

We are absolutely delighted to share our 2024/25 Impact Report. This past academic year has been a landmark chapter for the community.

From the official opening of the Rosalind Franklin Wing to the incredible achievement of a fully endowed bursary in honour of former High Mistress Sarah Fletcher, your support is changing lives.

None of this would be possible without the unwavering generosity of our alumnae, parents and friends. Thank you.
