Why do some children freeze in exams even when they’re well prepared?

It’s rarely about not knowing the content.

More often, it comes down to:
- time management
- pressure
- recognising what’s being asked
- and familiarity with question types

These are the skills that determine how a child performs under exam conditions.

And they need to be practised deliberately.
