In July our special guest firebrand singer Dawnette Fessey ! She'll be joined by and Francesca Nnoka Shaw Shaw bringing the low down greasy hawt blues🔥🎶
July is a special event as we are part of the London Summer Jam by Brenda Jean Russell - DanceMode London , a whole weekend of dancing Dexter Santos Dexter Santos and Heidi Fite from the US as guest teachers. This is a great opportunity to learn from some international instructors we rarely get in the UK

This month sees the welcome return of Will James who played a scorching set (literally) at our first birthday party back in 2024. We're thrilled to have him back and playing for us this Friday with Marco Farris accompanying him. *Please note the venue change* we are at 135 Bar & Lounge Cambridge Heath road, Bethnal Green, see you there! 8.30-2am suggested donation £10 🍸🎸🎶

*New venue* we're moving this month's gig to 135 Bar & Lounge - Bethnal Green . We're still going ahead with Will James and Marco Farris bringing their unique brand of soul inspired vocals and acoustic roots musicianship to Bethnal Green for a great night of music dancing and cocktails 🍸💃🏼🕺🏼🎶

This month we get to try out an exciting new dance space as mezzanine floor is ready to be used. We've got more space, our own bar and a real wooden dance floor. Can't wait to put some blues in this room!

This month we are returning to Poulet to try out the brand new mezzanine space which should give us more space to dance, less non dancers wandering through the dance floor and a real wooden floor!
Our special guest this month is Will James, he's a soulful singer who writes his own material with a firm respect for the blues tradition. He is accompanied by Marco Farris on harmonica.
