A week at LPS Clapham📚

From immersive art at Frameless to exploring architecture at Foster + Partners , getting out and about with tutors, and Year 11 Padel there’s always something happening beyond the classroom.

🎾 On the padel court!
Our Year 11 students took to the courts at Padel Yard Wandsworth for a day of competition, teamwork and plenty of fun.

🚴‍♂️ On the track!
Our Year 8 students took on the Herne Hill Velodrome for an exciting day of cycling, building confidence, skills and a love for trying something new.

A fascinating day at Parliament! 🏛️ Our students explored the history of Parliament, discovered how laws are debated and approved, and even created and presented their own petitions during an interactive workshop.

It’s good to feel our school alive with the buzz of school life again as we welcome new and returning students through our doors. Here’s to a year!

We’re celebrating exceptional GCSE success today, and especially outstanding results across STEM, languages and the arts 🎉

Congratulations to our students who achieved 38% grades 9–7, 95% grades 9–4.

🍽️ Learning from farm to plate

Earlier this year, Year 8 pupils took part in an immersive Farm to Plate project, exploring where our food comes from and the importance of sustainable food production.

After visiting The Pig's Head to learn about responsible sourcing, pupils put their skills into practice by preparing a three-course meal using regenerative ingredients in a hands-on cookery workshop.

📍 Exploring our local community

Earlier this year, Year 8 pupils took part in a tech-free urban orienteering challenge as part of their Global Citizenship curriculum.

Navigating Clapham and Balham using printed maps, they strengthened their confidence, resilience and teamwork while gaining a greater appreciation of the community around them.
